The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) on June 03, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding DG Set(s) in compliance with CAQM directions.
The following has been stated: -
•CAQM has issued SOPs for DG sets in NCR with regulated use based on capacity and fuel type: LPG/CNG/biogas DG sets have no restrictions, while diesel DG sets must comply with emission standards, use dual fuel/retrofit ECDS, and are restricted during GRAP except for emergencies.
•DPCC must update SCNs and EC orders online, issue them to responsible entities (tenant/landlord), and provide 15 days for EC payment.
•Reminders are to be sent at set intervals (first and second after 15 days each), with recovery from SDM initiated after 90 days.
•EC payments must be made via demand draft/bank transfer with proof submitted to DPCC.
